January reset

A group program to reboot the new year with healthy food, connection and clarity.

I don’t like the term ‘clean‘ eating. I think putting things in the framework of clean-dirty activates a less than healthy mindset. The logical extension is that you have to be ‘clean’ enough to join or belong.

But many of us, and me included, want to take care of ourselves inside and out. And know that eating well is part of that equation. But, we also know, deep in our hearts, that the striving and worry to get it right can be exhausting. Even kale can be harsh in the wrong environment.

So, my question for this month is this:

What does radical kindness look and feel like in a month of cleansing and dieting?

Let’s spend some time exploring.

Let’s turn it on its head and dive in deep. Together. With good food, good company and a loving heart.

Questions

is this program self guided or are there scheduled sessions?

It’s both really! We’ll have scheduled calls and content will drip out week by week. However, you are free to go at your own pace. Try the practices 1-2x/week or just try a couple new recipes. On the other hand, we’ll start and end this focused month together. I find that the momentum of the group helps make new habits easier to implement.

How long will the Q+A sessions last?

Each Q+A session will be 60 minutes and happen on Tuesday evenings during our time together. We’ll connect via a Zoom call where you can share and ask questions. You’ll be sent a recording of the call in case you can’t attend live.

What type of self-care practices can i expect?

The self care practices are meant to foster calm and relaxation as well as doing the deeper work of resetting primal clocks in our nervous and hormonal systems. We’ll explore mindful eating and winding down. Additional practices will pull from mindfulness tradition and include guided meditations based on somatic body sensing.

how long will i have access to the modules?

You’ll have access to the modules throughout the entire program. New content will drip out week by week. The course will remain open for a week past the closing date to give you time to review any material you wish to revisit or may have missed. All meal plans will be downloadable so that you can keep them and enjoy!

If i’ve purchased the program, can i change my mind?

You can request a refund up to 24 hours before the program starts (last day for refund requests is on January 21st). However, once the program has started, the enrollment fee is non-refundable.

I’m paleo. is this for me?

The purpose of this program is to cut through fad diets and really hone in on tried and true principles: lots of veggies, high quality protein, healthy fats and lots of fiber. The program and my food philosophy are built on the the Mediterranean diet and include whole grains and legumes.

are the recipes vegetarian or vegan?

Many of the recipes in the program are vegetarian or vegan. However, this is not a vegetarian or vegan program. It’s omnivorous and includes well-sourced animal protein (eggs, wild fish, beef, chicken and pork).
