The Dr and the Chef is back with a focus on Mediterranean principles. In this first session we’ll talk all about fruits and vegetables.
The Mediterranean diet is one of the most widely researched dietary patterns and has been shown to be effective in mood, pregnancy, autoimmune disease, and cardiovascular health. To name a few!
But we know that we need more support than just a handout. Cooking and sharing why it’s important are crucial steps to make this powerful nutrition strategy stick, so join me in the kitchen as we talk about this first principle and cook some delicious veggies inspired by the late summer.
We’ll be cooking:
- A roasted pepper salad 
- Arugula and kale salad with pecorino and walnuts
